Tales of Mystery and Imagination
Softcover Book (105x210mm)

In the 1968 film by François Truffaut Fahrenheit 451 the "book-men" memorize some books of literature in an attempt to save them from the flames and the extinction.
The book chosen by the protagonist, Guy Montag, is the collection Tales of Mystery
and Imagination by Edgar Allan Poe. Montag reads it repeatedly in order to memorize it and become the keeper of that knowledge.
This project does not want to be an editorial translation of the film but a variation.
4 photographs describe Guy Montag and constitute the whole volume. A paradox,
an imaginary exchange of roles is staged: the book as an interpreter-keeper and
man as knowledge-saved.
